Hi my name is Jordan.  I own and run The Bar Brisbane and I have also had a very successful long term coaching business named Creation Coaching.


There are a variety of options for private coaching including 2 hour testing/ programming sessions where we will work up to and find a comfortable max effort lift for squat, bench and deadlift. Then we will program you accordingly to your strengths and weaknesses, working within your time constraints and equipment available to you.


I provide weekly coaching sessions that are either 30, 45 or 60 minutes long. During these sessions we will break down and rebuild technique and once a safe lifting technique is established, push you to your absolute limits and make sure your'e getting maximum bang for your buck. Not all training has to be powerlifting/ bodybuilding focused.  There are also opportunities for HIIT training and boxing!


I also offer nutrition consultations that will help set you up for success with your diet. During the consultation we will cover how to track and log your food intake via MFP or MyMacros+, what exactly macro/ micro nutrients are, how they should be manipulated to achieve your desired body composition goal, and how to use a spreadsheet to keep track of it all.

Below is a a general idea of the things I focus on to get my clients the best results.


At Creation Coaching, we do not believe in “magical” diets or “miracle” foods. We also do not believe you have to eat every two, three or four hours. Eat when you are hungry!


We believe in the basic fundamentals of energy in, versus energy out. Ultimately to change your body composition you need to either be in a calorie deficit or a calorie surplus.


One thing we strongly believe in is achieving your ultimate macronutritional goals. Macronutrients (or macros) are Protein, Carbohydrates and Fats.  We also encourage you to hit micronutrional goals such as two serves of fruit and three serves of vegetables a day – (please strive to consume a variety of fruit and vegetables).

As part of your coaching, we determine the appropriate Protein, Carbohydrate and Fat intake for your goals.


These intake levels will either increase or decrease to suit your goals as time goes on. Ultimately, we want to see you consuming the highest amount of food possible, while still achieving your body composition goals.


What you use to satisfy your macronutrients is completely up to you! Remember, there is no such thing as “Clean”, “Dirty”, “Good” or “Bad” at Creation Coaching!



To make a change it is important you stick to your macros (this is the way we count your food intake) and train smart!


As part of our coaching we will provide you with a full training program to suit your lifestyle and goals!


All we need is for you to tell us what you want to achieve, what training you currently do (if any) and what sort of training you would like to do! That simple! The rest is up to us (except the training part, we do require you to do that yourself!)


Checking In (optional and not mandatory but highly recommend): Each week you will send us your tracker on a Thursday evening. We will then review your tracker and see how you went, make adjustments and give you feedback on your training and nutrition.


We ask you tell us the full truth! If you overindulged one day, that’s fine! You are human. If you do not train one day, let us know. All of this helps us to make necessary changes to your tracker.


We do not want to make unnecessary or wrong changes due to weight gain or weight loss because you have provided us with a false answer. Everything you tell us tells a story and allows us to best help you!


All private coaching can be done one on one or in groups of two or three,  with group discounts available.
